Kids Helping Kids Since starting Drop in the Bucket we have increasingly found that young people want to help and get involved with raising funds and awareness. Kids Helping Kids is a program that was set up to give school kids the opportunity to help other kids. Kids who are no different frrom them other than the fact that they were born in Africa and have to attend schools with no water or toilets. Kids helping Kids is your chance to help these children by helping to get them some of the basic things that we take for granted like water, hygiene and sanitation. Since this program was introduced the response has been amazing, and across the country many school kids are now raising money to help schools in Africa.

The La Francis Hardiman School in Wyandanch New York recently had their kindergarten to Second graders raise the money to pay for a well in Lira, Uganda.

The Meridian Medical Arts Charter High School in Meridian Idaho, just completed raising the money for a complete water system for a school in Uganda. The complete water system consists of a water well, a roundabout pump, a reservoir tank, a hand washing station, 14 toilets and a delayed septic system.

There are many more schools around the country that are raising money and are well on their way to paying for wells and complete systems for schools in Africa where they really need help.
