Everest-Skydive and Global Angels are partnering to create new world records
in the Himalayas and raise $1million for projects empowering vulnerable
children in Asia.
By joining forces, each skydiver on the Everest Skydive will "earn their
wings" as members of the Angel Skydive Team. This will also officially launch
the Global Angels Flying Academy where Angels all over the world can "earn
their wings" and help us help millions of children through fundraising adventures.

Hard Rock International has dedicated the month of December to the welfare of children with the launch of the "Feed a Child for a Year" program through its partnership with the Global Angels Foundation. The innovative international children's charity, which champions the needs of children around the world, was founded by Molly Bedingfield, mother of singers/songwriters Natasha and Daniel Bedingfield.
On Tuesday, November 6, 2007, Natasha Bedingfield, best known for her hit "Unwritten," kicked off the international campaign, with a live performance at Hard Rock Cafe New York in Times Square.

Molly Bedingfield joins the Everest Sky Dive team for her first ever skydive as part of a new world record. Molly is the Founder of international children's charity, Global Angels and jumped in an attempt to raise $1 million for street kids and orphans in Asia. She is mother of pop stars Natasha Bedingfield and Daniel Bedingfield.

I've done it... I jumped from 29,500 ft

How amazing... On Saturday morning at 8am, I finally jumped out of the plane at 29,500 ft… even though I closed my eyes once my legs where dangling over the edge for the final roll out the door. What a thrill as I dropped at a speed of up to 162mph in the 75 seconds freefall, followed by five minutes under canopy down 17,000ft to a soft landing on the drop zone below. The view of the Himalayas and Mt Everest was spectacular as you can see in the photos.
My jump was part of a new world record of the first and highest skydives in the Himalayas. That really is me in the red suit with my hunky tandem master wearing shorts :)
Going to bed the night before, I found a courage that surprised me, and I just knew I could trust the amazing team I was flying with. Natasha's team of Angels will take part in a historic adrenalin filled Skydive from 29,000 ft, in their quest to raise over $1 million for Global Angels’ sponsored projects impacting children in Nepal and northern India.
This jump, with Mt Everest as the backdrop will be in the Guiness Book of Records!
