“LIGHT OF HOPE” YOGA PROGRAM
HOPE (Helping Other People Everywhere) is initiating a nationwide campaign within the yoga community to support our humanitarian work.
In March of 08 HOPE visited the Kibera slums in Nairobi Kenya and taught yoga as a way to promote unity during the height of the post election violence. The program was a great success and we are now extending our reach. HOPE will be returning in May 09 to continue our exchange with the talented athletes, performers and artists from the Sarakasi arts program.
The "LIGHT OF HOPE" Yoga Program is a way for schools, instructors, and students to make a big difference through small gestures.
