Help Rebuild the Gulf Coast in 2009 Thank you for your interest in working with our gulf affiliates and the Rebuild 1000 initiative. We are thrilled that you are donating a week of your time and talent to help a family impacted by the hurricanes. A National Work Week kicks off with an orientation meeting on Sunday night and ends on Friday afternoon.

The local affiliate will ensure that you have all the tools and materials needed to successfully complete the repairs listed on the scope of work for your work week. We are requesting that each volunteer contribute funds to Rebuilding Together for the logistical expenses of a Rebuild 1000 work week. The expenses include housing, food, insurance, t-shirts, safety equipment and daily transportation to and from the worksite.

These costs range between $150 and $250 per person per week, depending on location. Volunteers may choose to use the housing options provided by the host affiliate or may secure alternative accommodations for the work week at their own expense. Plea...Read More
