From the Heart. Autism Awareness. "Matthew's Song" by Susan Boyle
I wrote this song in honor of my nephew, Matthew, who has been struggling with autism for just over 5 years. Ideally I want everyone to know that there are TONS of families out there who liquidate everything they have (because most States and insurance companies do NOT cover autism) simply to fund therapies to help their children get better. Please donate now and call your Senators to support funding for autism research and therapies. (NOTE: Matthew is currently seeking therapy through www.BrainBalanceCenters.com, and he has had tons of positive breakthroughs!!)

Andy sees his reliance on IHSS as a temporary situation and believes that in a few short years his son will be able to begin school with typical kindergarten supervision.

Any Given Day at Giant Steps. Facilities like this are needed in every neighborhood.
Two of our students, Dakota and Ezra, filmed daily events at Giaint Steps all through the school year. They choose the shots of the most interest and (with the help of a teacher) learned to edit them using i-Movie. Then, they picked a piece of music (out if i-tunes) that was the same length as the footage they shot. The results are "Any Given Day at Giant Steps".
