Got Hope? Harvey Milk
Harvey Milk was the first openly-gay man to be elected to public office in the US in 1977. His most recognized speech, "You Cannot Live On Hope Alone," was given in 1978, shortly before he was assassinated.

I performed in a Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles Harvey MILK Day Concert at Fairfax High School, West Hollywood on Saturday, 22MAY10. Friend Dustin Lance BLACK was there and greeted all from the audience. Harvey MILK's speech was integrated into the production.

Harvey Milk did great things in his life time. While if he had lived longer he would have done more, he did do great things, greater things then I think himself or his supporters ever imagined.
This speech reminds me of society nowadays, where somewhere around he United States, someone is being murdered for being gay. That's not right. Harvey Milk was a great man for a rgeat cause. He had no reason to die. Harvey could have done great things...
