Slash On Youth Homelessness and the LAYN Rocks! Benefit Concert

Slash and friends join forces to battle youth homelessness in Los Angeles during the LAYN Rocks! benefit concert November 22 at the Avalon Hollywood. Hosted by comedian George Lopez, LAYN Rocks! will unite musical talents Slash, Ozzy Osbourne, Perry Farrell, Tom Morello, Billy Idol, Chester Bennington of Linkin Park, Travis Barker, Andrew Stockdale of Wolfmother, Dave Navarro, and many others for a night of great music and a step toward eradicating youth homelessness. The Los Angeles Youth Network (http://layn.org) is a volunteer driven nonprofit organization based on helping over 10,000 homeless adolescents become self-sufficient by providing shelter, food, and counseling for the abused, neglected, and abandoned. An incredible lineup of passionate artists has been recruited, linking social awareness and entertainment together under one roof.

I never knew he was so soft spoken. It's great that he's supporting the homeless youth in LA. I'm sure he's had some experience with it.

Have to be honest. I'm not the biggest fan of rock music, but I respect the craft of the music. You normally would think rock stars just wanna party all night. But Slash has been in the game for some time now and they're really on to something with this event that they're doing. Should be an awesome event.
